Is Wisdom International funded by a church?

People are often surprised to learn that Wisdom International is a separate 501(c)3 ministry and does not receive any funding from the church where Stephen Davey pastors. This protects both The Shepherd's Church and Wisdom from budget conflicts, staffing issues, liability concerns as well as any confusion over fundraising or ownership of the ministry assets. As a ministry, 100% of our funding comes from donations given by our listeners.
